The last week and a half has been a been a really productive one for Shimmer.
First up we introduced a new cave to the game:
Next I did some work on the UI as I felt it needed something a little different:
Thanks to all those on Twitter who helped decide on a much better styling for these indicators. I still might add in a little colour but for now I am happy with this result.
The last major change has been a decision to implement modular building, prior to early access release.
I have already received some of the models to make this work and have mapped out the coding logic needed. This weekend will be a process of testing and implementing the code in game to come up with a working building system including the required UI interface.
